Building Homes Back, Stronger Than Before
When disaster renders a home beyond repair, the journey back to stability begins with rebuilding from the ground up. Ducky Recovery specializes in full-scale residential reconstruction designed for resiliency, safety, and long-term sustainability. Our new home builds are more than structural replacements—they’re a symbol of recovery, dignity, and afresh start for families who’ve lost everything.
With decades of experience leading HUD-and CDBG-DR-funded construction programs, Ducky has completed thousands of new builds in flood-prone, coastal, and disaster-declared zones. Each home is constructed to current International Residential Code (IRC),Florida Building Code (FBC), or applicable local code standards. We integrate high-velocity hurricane zone (HVHZ) protections, energy-efficient systems, and elevation designs thatreduce future risk and insurance burdens.
From demolition to key turnover, we manage every step, ensuring seamless collaboration with local permitting offices, environmental review agencies, and homeowners. Our commitment to transparency and performance ensures every family receives a home that is code-compliant, cost-effective, and built to last.
Our Process

01
Preconstruction & Permitting
This stage includes environmental review, demolition (if applicable), site grading, and securing all necessary building permits. Our team coordinates with local agencies to ensure full compliance.

02
Design & Foundation
Clients select from pre-approved floor plans or customized options (if applicable). Foundations are engineered based on soil reports and flood zone requirements (CMU piers, driven piles, or slab-on-grade).

03
Vertical Construction
Structural framing, roofing, windows, and doors are installed. MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems are roughed in and inspected to meet code.

04
Interior & Exterior Finishes
Installation of insulation, drywall, paint, cabinetry, flooring, and appliances. Final site grading, driveways, decks, and landscaping are also completed.

05
Final QA & Turnover
Home is inspected for code compliance and punch list items resolved. Certificate of Occupancy is issued and the home is turned over to the client with documentation and orientation.
