Rebuild Florida – Hurricane Michael Program

Housing Repair & Replacement Program Restoring Homes and Hope in Florida’s Panhandle

In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Michael in 2018, the Florida Department of Commerce (formerly DEO) launched the Rebuild Florida Housing Repair and Replacement Program to help the state’s most vulnerable residents recover. Funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development through the CDBG-DR program, this initiative focused on assisting low- to moderate-income families, seniors, and individuals with special needs across the hardest-hit areas of the Florida Panhandle.
