NCORR Housing Replacement Program

Rebuilding Safer, Stronger Homes Across Eastern North Carolina

Following the catastrophic impacts of Hurricane Matthew (2016) and Hurricane Florence (2018), thousands of North Carolina families were left with severely damaged or uninhabitable homes. In response, the North Carolina Office of Recovery and Resiliency (NCORR) launched the Housing Replacement Program, funded by HUD’s Community Development Block Grant for Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) and supported by FEMA mitigation resources.
